South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance, Kareemah Fowler, district officials, and representatives from Fanning Howey will host two meetings to gather public input on the district’s facilities master plan, as well as insight into the SBCSC district and community.
“The input of our stakeholders is crucial to the success of this endeavor,” said Fowler. “This is a vital step toward a more successful district, and we cannot proceed without careful consideration of the current culture—where we are now, where we belong, and how we can enhance and redesign our environment for the success of our students, teachers, families, and the entire South Bend community.”
Guests are invited to provide feedback and ideas about topics such as choice programs, Career and Technical Education, Special Education, fine arts, athletics, and other curricula. An online questionnaire will be available for two weeks following the meeting, and will also be distributed to students, teachers, and staff.

This community meeting will provide stakeholders an opportunity to share input on facilities options that were developed based on input received at the March 19 meeting. Feedback from this community meeting will help form the recommendations for the long-range facilities plan.
