South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) will hold three back-to-school events in August to prepare students and families for the first days of school. There will be two walk-in registration days at the elementary and middle schools and a one-day Back to School Bash.
Students new to SBCSC will be able to enroll in a school at all three events.
Walk-in Registration Days
New and returning students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and their families are invited to visit their South Bend Community School Corporation schools from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 5 or 1 - 6 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 to register, arrange bus transportation, update contact information, and more.
They will also receive room assignments, schedules, supply lists, and forms. In addition, immunization information with be available.
“The purpose of these two dates is to take care of several details that are typically not handled until the first day of school. To improve service to our students and families, we will have numerous staff there to answer questions and assist with filling out forms, etc.,” said Brandon White, Assistant Superintendent of Academics.
