This program is offered at Washington High School,
where students are given instruction and guidance in
educating young children, primarily ages 3-5. Students
gain fieldwork experience in area preschool classrooms
and regularly observe, reflect, and apply effective
teaching strategies and classroom management. Six
high school credits can be earned simultaneously with
nine dual credits from Ivy Tech. Students who complete
the program have the opportunity to earn their Child
Development Associate certificate.
